Electro-Funk Announcement: The Floozies to Play The Top Hat
Future-funk duo known as The Floozies will return to The Top Hat on Thursday, Nov 2nd. Brothers Matt and Mark Hill comprise this electro-outfit, known for it’s bold live-performances.

The brothers eschew contemporary electronic influences by employing various genres including jazz, funk, hip-hop, disco and afro-beat. The eclectic mix results in a unique brand of electronica comparable to that produced by future-funk artists like GRiZ.
No less inventive and funky than previous releases, the band’s new album Funk Jesus is expected in September. Check out the album’s single, “Arithmetic,” below.
The Floozies have experienced a steady rise in popularity since their 2008-inception: an ascent peppered with sold-out performances, big-name festival appearances and a headlining show at Red Rocks. They have also shared the stage with electronic heavy-weights like Big Gigantic and jam-stars like Umphrey’s McGee.
