Montana-Based Logjam Presents to Assume Exclusive Booking for Ogren Park in Missoula, Montana

Montana-based promoter Logjam Presents and the City of Missoula have entered into an exclusive agreement to promote and produce entertainment events at Ogren Park in Missoula, Montana. Logjam Presents will share the facility with the Missoula Osprey baseball team.

According to Nick Checota, owner of Logjam Presents, “We are very excited to expand our capability in Missoula, Montana.” Checota believes that the addition of the stadium will provide Logjam Presents with the opportunity to bring larger artists to the region. “Ogren Park will complement our current Missoula venue portfolio of the Top Hat, the Wilma and the KettleHouse Amphitheater.”

According to Mayor John Engen, the agreement between the City of Missoula and Logjam Presents will ensure a greater benefit to the Western Montana economy and Missoula’s cultural landscape. “Missoula is on the map as a quality music community and this agreement meets a number of our goals, including using the community asset that is the stadium for events in addition to the wonderful entertainment the Missoula Osprey offers during its season,” Engen said. “Logjam is a great local company that employs more than 200 in Missoula, is a generous community partner and delivers high-quality entertainment for Missoulians and visitors.

As with its other venues, Logjam is committed to creating an exceptional concertgoer experience at Ogren Park. To this end, Logjam plans to enhance the sound and production capabilities of the venue as well make some additional investments to enhance the entertainment experience. Logjam is also working with the City to increase the capacity from 8,000 to 10,000 people. “Ogren Park is a fantastic facility with a great riverfront location in close proximity to downtown Missoula. With some key investments in sound and production, we feel this could become a very attractive regional option to larger touring artists.”Logjam will take over promotion and production for Ogren Park starting the summer of 2019 concert season.
