The Perfect Encore: 3 New Desserts Added to Top Hat Menu

Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Well here you go. The Top Hat is adding 3 new gourmet desserts to the menu.

For a long time, the Top Hat only had one rotating dessert available, but due to popular demand, we’re expanding our sweet side of the menu. As with the rest of our fare, these desserts are all made-from-scratch by our talented kitchen staff.

Here’s a word from Chef Billy about the new dessert items:

“Our goal with the new dessert menu was to provide more options to get the Top Hat dessert selections on par with the rest of the menu. We were getting a lot of feedback that customers wanted more options, a chocolate dessert and something for kids, so we used this feedback to create a diverse menu that we hope everyone enjoys.”

Here’s a quick rundown of the three additions:

Flourless chocolate torte: This decadent gluten free dessert is the perfect delectable for a chocolate lover. The torte is made in house with the main ingredients of eggs, butter and chocolate — how can it not be good?! The colorful raspberry and mint coulis are also made in house.

Salted caramel ice cream sundae: Made with local Big Dipper Vanilla Bean ice cream, this classic dessert features house-made salted caramel, whip cream and of course… a cherry on top. We didn’t overthink this timeless dessert. It’s perfect for kids and everyone else.

Red velvet cake: This item features sour cream powdered sugar frosting that’s layered between two round cuts of red velvet cake, all drizzled with a raspberry rosemary reduction sauce. It’s delivered on a nice plate covered with half powdered sugar to give you a sense of a more modern twist and garnished with a small sprig of rosemary to give it a fresh look.

The Top Hat will continue to serve the popular House-Made Granny Smith Apple Tart. It’s made with a warm pastry and slices of apples over an almond streusel, drizzled with a vanilla sea salt caramel, and topped with Big Dipper Vanilla Bean ice cream.

With a dessert menu this good, you don’t have to save room for it. You’ll make room for it.
