Rodrigo y Gabriela Unveil New Album “Mettavolution”
Internationally acclaimed acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela just released their new studio album, Mettavolution.
It’s the duo’s first album since their 2014 LP 9 Dead Alive. They continue to blend metal, jazz and Hispanic roots music in their own unique, unmistakable style. The record consists of seven tracks, one of which is an incredible 18 minute rendition of Pink Floyd’s epic piece “Echoes” off the 1971 album Meddle.
Rock Cellar Magazine already called Mettavolution an “epic collection of instrumental compositions with inescapable rhythms and haunting melodies.”
