Indie Rocker On the Rise Lucy Dacus Confirms Montana Concerts

Indie rock singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus has plans for two Montana concerts this fall — one at the Rialto in Bozeman on October 16th and another at the Top Hat in Missoula on October 17th, 2019.

It was just three years ago that Lucy Dacus released her critically acclaimed debut album, No Burden. Pitchfork said “Richmond-based singer/songwriter Lucy Dacus’ No Burden is an uncommonly warm indie rock record. Lead guitar lines pour in like slow columns of sunlight, and Dacus’ voice itself is a comforting blur.”

Her followup album Historian came out March 2018 on Matador Records. Pitchfork again praised Lucy, saying “It’s not an easy album to wear out. It lasts, and it should, given that so many of its lyrics pick at time, and the way time condenses around deep emotional attachments to other people.”

Lucy is also a member of the supergroup trio, boygenius, along with Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. Their first EP came out October 2018.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 31st at 8AM. Complete details in the event pages below.
