The Commonheart Release “Pressure” with New Album

Pittsburgh-based, 8-piece powerhouse, The Commonheart, recently released, Pressure (pun intended) — the band’s second full length album.

The 10-song sophomore effort is the followup to 2016’s Grown, which The Jamwich said had it “all and then some.”

The Commonheart continues to deliver their powerful combination of soul and rock through frontman Clinton Clegg’s gritty vocals and the band’s commanding rock riffs and emotive horns.

Elizabeth Chandler of American Songwriter wrote that “their sound reverberates through your core.” The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reviewed the new album, saying “The Commonheart has stepped up and knocked it out of the park.”

Atwood Magazine wrote “The Commonheart’s brand of upbeat rock’n’soul is a beautiful twist on the past; a reworking of the classics for the modern age.”

The band has shared the stage with Gary Clark Jr. and performed on the Outlaw Music Festival tour with Willie Nelson, Van Morrison, Sturgill Simpson and more. They’ve also made appearances at big festivals like Summer Camp, Mountain Jam, and Americanafest.

Now, they’re gearing up for their headlining fall tour which includes a date at the Rialto in Bozeman on September 23rd and the Top Hat in Missoula on September 25th. Details in the event pages below.
