Ranges Push Forward with Rousing New Single “Demagogue”
Bozeman-based, instrumental post-rock band Ranges recently dropped their latest song “Demagogue.” The track is the second single to come off their forthcoming album Babel, which is slated to release September 30th.
Heavy Blog Is Heavy premiered the track saying “Ranges display the somewhat darker, more deeply resonant sound that typifies said release. The bass churns a bit harder, the drums hit deeper, and the guitars seem to draw a deluge rather than a mist.”
Babel, the follow up to 2017’s The Ascencionist, will be released with label support from A Thousand Arms Music (US), dunk!records (EU), Bird’s Robe Records (AU), and LeRock Psicophonique (SA). Listen to, “Avarice,” Ranges’ first single off the album here.
Fans in Montana will get an early live dose of the LP in Bozeman when Ranges celebrate their Album Release Party at the Rialto on Friday, September 27, 2019.
