The Dusty Pockets Announce Special Guests and Share Poster Art for Bozeman Friends of Music Benefit

Bozeman-based Americana roots band, The Dusty Pockets, previously announced a benefit concert for Bozeman Friends of Music. The show, which will take place at the Rialto on November 27th, will also include a brass section from The Horn Stars, and other FriendsĀ of the Pockets.

Those Friends were previously unknown, but now, the Pockets have confirmed their special guests. They’ll be having two of Bozeman’s most beloved musicians join them, Shawn Swain and Torrin Daniels, two members from nationally touring galaxygrass band, Kitchen Dwellers!

In addition, female powerhouse vocalists Paige Rasmussen and Kelly Nicholson will perform, and Bozeman High School Orchestra members, Jack Dungan and Elizabeth Lee, will join in throughout the night.

The Dusty Pockets have also unveiled their special poster art for the show. (Check out the artwork below!) The poster, done by local artist Sex.thecat, will be available for purchase at the concert. In addition to the concert proceeds, all poster proceeds will be donated to Bozeman Friends of Music.

Plus, a raffle will take place for “a free day of recording time at The Dusty Pockets studio” and it looks like the Music Villa will also be offering another prize to the package. All raffle proceeds will go to Bozeman Friends of Music.

What exactly is Bozeman Friends of Music? It’s basically a booster club for local music programs. They’ve been supporting music education in the Bozeman Public School District since 1985 by enriching the lives of students through exceptional musical experiences in choir, band and orchestra. The organization is run completely by volunteers and relies on membership fees and donations from the community.

So we hope you can come out to the show, dance and have a good time — all whiles supporting an awesome organization! Tickets and more info here.
