Portland Born, Dirty Revival has evolved from the confines of a basement, to some of PDX’s most sought after stages. Their soulful sounds and energetic beats deliver an atmosphere that enraptures any audience.

Led by the soulful vocals of Sarah Clarke, Dirty Revival has made their mark on the Pacific Northwest music scene. The unique ensemble delivers powerful original tracks and superbly arranged classics with a resounding presence, delivering passionate performances from dimly lit dive bars to crowded concert halls and open festival skies.

The dynamic, seven-piece soul outfit shines on stage, and defines influences from funk- and soul-infused icons of the past. Dirty Revival has shared the stages with musical heavy-hitters such as Michael Franti, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Slick Rick, Nappy Roots and Gift of Gab, and have several multi-regional tours already under their belt.

The band has been actively touring in support of their debut album, the self titled, Dirty Revival, release in September of 2015.

The release was marked by a sold out CD release party at one of Portland’s premier venues, Mississippi Studios. Driven by the warm reception of their freshman album, Dirty Revival has the heart and mind behind the music and the unyielding drive to share their soul.

Down North

“Down North” is a tour de force Soul Punk band from Seattle brimming with top tier talent that bridges the gap between high energy showmanship performances and fine crafted songwriting.

The lineup consists of lead vocalist/dancer Anthony “RenaGade” Briscoe, whose North Carolina-bred approach to making fans swoon has no equal in the Pacific NW. Raised on Michael Jackson and Sam Cooke, Anthony is as stylish and emotional as Prince in his vocal expressions and proudly tears apart the stage with his ballet trained dancing making him perhaps the most underrated frontman of our times.

Co-leader Brandon Storms is an extremely versatile bassist that blends his stylings of slap/pop bass lines with deep synth and pitch bent solos that parallel guitar leads.

One of the best drummers in his time, if not the best EVER, Conrad Real glues the foundation together with impeccable groove and insane chops that make even the most seasoned drummers bow down.  His finesse and physique are on full display as he destroys the drum kit in a Bruce Lee like flurry. Oh yeah, he also plays for the Grammy award winning Digable Planets.

Last but most certainly not least the psychedelic-jazz guitarist Nick Quiller dominates the fretboard with limitless imagination, shredding into another dimension from torchered soul depths to transcendental highs.  His unique approach is akin to a painter that blends soundscaping colors contrasted against blissful rhythm voicings.

The band has extensive touring of the US for four years and finishing the work to release their second official EP this year.  They have built a name for themselves for dynamic live shows that brings an audience to their feet and have been gain popularity playing to colleges, opening for national acts such as Gym Class Heros, America’s Got Talent winner Landau Murphy Jr, Grammy award winner Emily King and Skinny Puppy, Robert Randolph and E40 to name a few.

There is no disputing Down North’s ability to deliver a dynamic live performance. Here are some notable performance and song links that demonstrate their brand of soul.
