First Friday: Celebrating the Wilma’s 100 Years of Arts, Live Entertainment and Imagination

Our beloved venue and possibly Missoula’s most iconic building — the Wilma — is celebrating its 100 year anniversary! To celebrate we’re inviting you to our First Friday Art Show on May 7th at the Wilma from 5pm – 8pm.

We’ll be showcasing event photography from local photographer, Jeffrey Neubauer of Neubauer Media, and will also be showcasing concert screen prints and poster art from Missoula’s very own Pumpernickel Stewart. 

While you’re walking through the Wilma, you can glance at our slideshow featuring photographs from past events and notable moments,  as well as fun facts about the historic theater.

If you have any old Wilma memorabilia that you’d be willing to showcase (photos, posters, setlists, ticket stubs, artwork, etc), we’d love to feature it! Please take a photo of the items and send us a message here, or also feel free to post to social media and tag the Wilma (@the_wilma_theatre). 

The event will be free, open to the public and all ages are welcome. There will also be bar service available for people over the age of 21.

We look forward to celebrating with you and welcoming you back to the Wilma. Who knows, maybe we’ll even have a show in the not so far future 😉

Celebrating 100 Years

Pumpernickel Stewart is Logjam Presents’ beloved Creative Director. From designing logos and merchandise to creating specialized show screen prints, and all things in between, Pumpernickel has a keen eye for design. You can see her specialized screen prints at most of the KettleHouse Amphitheater shows. Make sure to stop by the merchandise booth to pick one up!

Jeffrey Neubauer (Neubauer Media) is a photographer and filmmaker specializing in live events, portraits, weddings, and lifestyle creative content. He has been shooting live event photography for Logjam Presents since 2015. His work has been featured in Relix, 360 Magazine, Live for Live Music and he recently won the “People’s Choice Award” in Photography District News (PDN) Ultimate Music Moment Contest. You can see him at most of our live events running around with his camera, dressed in all black, doing what he does best. If you see him in action, ask for a snapshot and you may be featured in an event photo galleries!
