About Thriftworks

Thriftworks offers his own uniquely original take on forward thinking electronic music, weaving eclectic samples and explosive modern bass that continually pushes the envelope while taking the art of beat-crafting to new heights. Garnering much praise from fans and critics alike with his steady stream of new material, Thriftworks is quickly becoming known as one of the finest up and coming experimental producers with his outside the box sound and unclassifiable style. Thriftworks’ use of deep low-end and wall to wall synths seem to channel something ancient and mysterious, offering up an intoxicating musical high with an invigorating breath of fresh air. These sounds activate the senses, enrapture the mind, move the body and leave audiences begging for more.

Most of the genres I have played with are mostly Bass house and House music, just recently I have started playing around with chill house and more of a deep house vibe that I’ve been working on, but most of my music that I have been working on are mostly Bass house and G house. I started making and spinning music about 6 years ago, it took off for me. That’s when I knew. I was like hell yeah, I love this feeling. It’s been one hell of a ride to where I have come from and I continue to push boundaries with music.

I’ve had the pleasure of spinning music at such venues as, Palace Lounge, Monks, Stage 112, the basement of Stage 112, Badlander and the Top Hat.

Music festivals Iʼve had the pleasure of spinning at include Mount Olympus, Neon City, Shine, Shani Moon and Arts Festival, Bear Mouth Music Festival, Pirate Party, Disco Blood Bath, and Alien Abduction.
