Beam has produced 5 albums, numerous EP’s and singles all under the moniker Iron & Wine. The most recent example is the third album from his archive collection. Some of the music even stretches back from when Iron & Wine produced its first lo-fi album, The Creek Drank the Cradle, in 2002.

The third archive album is also to be released on a 12” Vinyl. Dropped on April 22nd, the album celebrated Record Store Day; a product of Beam’s independent Black Cricket Recording Company.

The Missoula date is set, hot off of numerous big bookings, including the Fayetteville Roots Festival. Sam Beam has proved with recent collaborations that he is more than an ex-film professor with a guitar. Instrumentation at shows has ranged from nearly acoustic arrangements to full horn sections, ever-laced with hauntingly-introspective lyrics and storytelling.

A long-time Missoula favorite, don’t miss this South-Carolina native come Fall. Tickets will go on sale Thu, Jun 15th at 10am MDT and will be available at The Top Hat in downtown Missoula, online, or by calling (877) 987-6487.
