Local Metal Support Added for Pallbearer: Cannon
The doom metal group, Pallbearer, has just announced local thrash-metal group, Cannon, as their support this August. Pallbearer is set to play The Top Hat on Sunday, Aug 20th. Cannon is comprised of Sam Kaley (guitar, vocals), Luke “Wild” Barrey (drums, vocals), and Jordan Demander (bass, vocals).

The group claims to have crawled out of the “ashes of the thrash metal scene” in Missoula. They are known for high-energy performances that are intended to leave the audience “exhausted.” Cannon’s year (2017) has been filled with live performances, including an opening gig for Red Fang (stoner-metal).
Cannon’s sound is influenced by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd to High on Fire and The Melvins. The trio is currently touring the Pacific North West and working on a new EP, entitled Off the Wires. Expected later this year, “Tarantula Hawk” (above) offers fans a sneak peak at the project.
