New Electro Sound at The Top Hat: Black Tiger Sex Machine
Montreal-based Black Tiger Sex Machine is set to play The Top Hat on Wednesday, Oct 4th. The electro-powerhouse is quickly gaining critical-acclaim and making high-profile appearances at festivals like Electric Forest, TomorrowWorld, Electric Zoo, Lollapalooza and Escape from Wonderland.

A BTSM set is typically defined by charisma, bumping electro-house beats, and the members’ signature tiger helmets. Also head of their own independent label, Kannibalen Records, the group has seen the rise of names like Snails, Kai Wachi, Apashe, and Dabin. Kai Wachi and Lektrique will join Black Tiger Sex Machine at their Top Hat show come October.
Their musical talents created a highly-successful US 2015 debut after previous tours in Europe and South Africa. The group is currently on their “Music is Our Religion” Tour, which focuses on their most recent album release. Welcome to Our Chuch (listen below), the most album’s title, is a reference to the group’s worldwide following known as the “BTSM Church.”
