“Hope the High Road’s” video was recorded at the Nashville-headquarters for Pulse Lighting, who contribute lighting to the group’s tour. The Nashville Sound, out now, features a more robust Southern-rock quality partially attributed to Isbell’s band, the 400 Unit.

Introspective, rocked out Americana is fleshed out by the addition of the 400 Unit. On tour, the album has an “energy and immediacy” when performed that strays from Isbell’s more acoustic music. His return to Missoula marks a re-branding in this Americana headliners already outstanding repertoire.
