Indie up-and-comers The National Parks will headline The Top Hat on Saturday, Sept 30th. The Utah-based folk quintet will be joined by singer-songwriter RIVVRS & local support from University of Montana student Shannon Fahey.
Formed in Provo, Utah in 2013, The National Parks have gradually made a name for themselves with two full-length albums and a stand-alone single. Their most recent, Until I Live, has received awards in the International Songwriting Competition as well as garnering press from press outlets like NPR.
The unsigned indie-folk unit has seen massive success on various music charts. Their music climbed to #13 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, top 50 on the iTunes’ Pop Chart, and #5 on Billboard’s regional Heatseekers Chart. Their song “As We Ran” (listen below) was written for and featured on the documentary film “Love In The Tetons.”
Join The National Parks and RIVVRS at The Top Hat on Saturday, Sept 30th for a night of regionally influenced song-writing and indie-folk. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug 4th at 10AM MDT and will be available online, over the phone at (877) 987-6487, or at The Top Hat’s box office in downtown Missoula.
