Gryffin Releases Video for Love In Ruins (Watch)
Gryffin has released a new animated music video for his track “Love In Ruins,” (watch above). The LA-based electronic producer will play The Top Hat on Tuesday, Oct 10th. He will be joined by DJs Autograf and Ayokay for an evening of future bass in Missoula.

The video is in the Seinen anime style, featuring a couple, whose escape from evil serves as the rising action in the clip. Directed by Tetsuya Tatamitani, the video offers a unique visual compliment the melodic EDM. Dan Griffith, aka Gryffin, differentiates his sound from other DJs with an intense attention to melody and organic piano and guitar sampling.
The above track features Sinead Harnett’s soaring vocals over a synth-heavy backdrop. Add a touch of piano and guitar, which Griffith was trained on in school, and you achieve the niche-genre of future bass. Take another listen with his original song “Feel Good” featuring vocalist Daya (below).
