Listen: Funk Jesus – The Floozies

Released September 29, 2017, Funk Jesus is The Floozies newest, and possibly funkiest album to date. Sexy synth lines, crunchy guitar licks, and forward thrusting percussion continue to create the special brand of electro-funk that The Floozies sound encompasses. Amongst the 11 tracks are features from String Cheese Incident, Gibbz, ProbCause, and Lettuce members Ryan Zoidis & Eric “Benny” Bloom. Listen to the full Funk Jesus album below:

The Floozies are currently on their nationwide 2017 Funk Jesus Tour, which includes a headlining performance at The Top Hat on November 2nd. Having before played both The Top Hat and The Wilma, they’re well trained in the art of a funky Missoula get down. Tickets and more info here.

About The Floozies

Born in funk and bred in the digital age, live electronic duo The Floozies have burst onto the scene at a time when the industry needed them the most. Brothers Matt and Mark Hill share the stage just as easily as they share a musical brain. Without a setlist, and without a word between them, Matt’s guitar is in lockstep with the thud of Mark’s kick. Endless looping and production builds the raw scenery upon which palm muted chugs, searing solos, and wobbling bass paint their dazzling array of colors.

“Live electronic, funked-out brotherly duo.”

“Taking funk music to a new level.”
