SUPPORT ANNOUNCED: Singer-Songwriter Ron Artis II Will Open for Fellow Hawaiian Mike Love

Singer-Songwriter Ron Artis II has been confirmed as support for Mike Love at the Top Hat on Friday, May 4, 2018.

Emerging from the islands of Hawaii, Ron’s recordings feature ranging genres, including blues, jazz, flamenco, rock, R&B and soul. Ron’s first major release was What Music Means To Me with his brother Thunderstorm Artis in 2015. The album garnered praises from Jack Johnson, Mike Love, Mick Fleetwood, and Booker T Jones.

In 2016, Ron released the funk & blues influenced EP Little People, again earning positive reviews from Grammy winners Booker T Jones and Eric Krasno.

Ron has been called “A Pure Artist”. Always keeping a connection between life and music. Named after his father Ron Artis, Ron is the eldest son in a family of 11 children.
