LISTEN: Slightly Stoopid Drops Dubby New Single “If You Want It” ft. Alborosie

California reggae all stars Slightly Stoopid have just released their new single “If You Want It” featuring Italian reggae artist Alborosie.

Although Stoopid ranges beyond the one drop genre, the overall feel of the new track is bluntly filled with dub reggae influence — thick with reverbs, echoes, deep bass lines, and skanky guitar chops. Most of the catchy vocals come from co-band leader Kyle McDonald, with one solid verse from Alborosie.

Along with the single, Stoopid announced the release of their forthcoming album Everyday Life, Everyday People due out on July 13, 2018.
