JUST ANNOUNCED: Indie Singer-Songwriter Neko Case Will Return To Missoula

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Neko Case will be returning to Missoula for a headlining performance at The Wilma on November 27, 2018. She’ll be joined by fellow indie rocker Destroyer.

Known for her raspy, smoky vocals, Neko Case has been a dominant force within the indie music scene. Her genre ranges from atmospheric, pop-tinged rock to country centric folk music.

She’s released an extensive catalog of music, both as a solo artist and as a part of other bands. Case has been a staple member of the Canadian indie rock group The New Pornographers, serving as both a lead and backing vocalist on each of the bands seven studio albums. They’re most recent work Whiteout Conditions came out in 2017. Case has also worked with several other bands, including The Corn Sisters, The Sadies, Cub, and Maow.

Under her own name, Case has released 7 albums. Her 1997 debut album The Virginian was released under Neko Case and Her Boyfriends, as was Furnace Room Lullaby in 2000.  2002 and 2006 saw the releases of Blacklisted and Fox Confessor Brings the Flood. The following LP’s Middle Cyclone and  The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You, each receieved Grammy nomincations in 2010 and 2014 respectively.

On June 1, 2018, Case unveiled her latest album Hell-On.
