Cross Country: A Twangy Drag Show Benefitting Blue Mountain Clinic

Montanaʼs – and quite possibly Americaʼs best and only country drag show, Cross Country, will perform live at The Wilma on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

For the third year in a row, proceeds from Cross Country will benefit the Blue Mountain Clinic, a Missoula nonprofit that fights to provide women access to family planning, women’s health care, and reproductive services.

Cross Country features local performers who humorously take advantage of gender stereotypes in country music. Dressed in drag, performers belt out their favorite songs in front of a live country band that’s cleverly named The Assless Chaps, which features members of local Missoula bands Cash For Junkers, VTO, and the LaneSplitters.

Last year, Cross Country sold out the Top Hat, so this year it’s been moved to The Wilma for even more of the electrifying, funny, and touching performances that will help sustain the Blue Mountain Clinic in a fun, upbeat, and supportive atmosphere. Everyone is encouraged to attend in drag and bring a dancing partner!
