Charlie Parr has been consistently touring and writing music since his 2002 debut Criminals and Sinners. The Duluth-based musician released his most recent album Dog in 2017, continuing to show fans his deep and thoughtful songwriting abilities. In reference to Parr’s last album Glide Magazine wrote “Rather than run from the hellhound(s) on his trail, Parr dares them to race him and he proves the combination of comfort and speed makes for potent fuel.” Saving Country Music said that “Parr isn’t a performer, he’s a master craftsman of music.”

Willie Watson is a founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show, and thus helped start the 21st century folk revival. Heʼs a folksinger in the classic sense: a singer, storyteller, and traveller, with a catalog of songs that bridge the gap between the past and present. NPR spoke highly of Watson saying “As a solo artist, Watson has dug ever deeper into plainspoken roots and traditional folk music, with a sound cleanly rooted in the past, but his songs are too vibrant to feel like museum pieces.”
