Guster Drops Title Track “Look Alive” Ahead of New Album

Boston-based rock group Guster just unveiled their third single “Look Alive” from their upcoming album of the same name, which is due out January 18, 2019.

This will be the band’s 8th album — their second off the Ocho Mule/Nettwerk Records label. It’s the follow up to 2015’s Evermotion, which received an 8/10 on PopMatters.

Speaking about the title track, drummer Brian Rosenworcel says it’s “an ominous, processed sonic collage with haunting words about waking up and becoming active in the midst of hollow words and fake heroes.”

Guster previously released two other singles “Don’t Go” and “Hard Times” back in August of 2018. You can listen to them below.

The 4-piece rock outfit will be hitting the road this winter for their Look Alive World Tour which includes a date in Missoula at the Top Hat on February 11, 2019. You can find more information on the concert here.
