Influenced by post-punk pioneers like The Cure and Elvis Costello, their sound draws from various punk, pop, and rock genres.

Their 2014 debut album Language & Perspective made The Huffington Post’s list of best releases that year, calling it “a rare indie release with little excess amongst its singles.”

Their sophomore effort, 2016’s Disappear Here, reached number 13 on the US Indie chart. Alternative Press gave the album high praise saying it “Offers Bad Suns most dynamic, introspective work yet.”

The band recently signed to Epitaph Records and dropped their first new single in over a year, “Away We Go.”
