Chris Robinson Brotherhood Releases Live Album “Betty’s Midwestern Magick Blends”
Chris Robinson Brotherhood just released their fourth live album Betty’s Midwestern Magick Blends on November 16, 2018. It’s available on a very limited number of 3,500 vinyl copies, along with digital formats as well.
The album is volume four of the “Betty Blends,” a collections of live CRB recordings courtesy of friend and longtime Grateful Dead archivist Betty Cantor-Jackson. Songs from the album include originals from the CRB catalog but also some classic covers like Steppenwolf’s “Magic Carpet Ride,” Bob Dylan’s “It’s All Over Now Baby Blue” and the Rolling Stones’ “Let It Bleed” and “Down Home Girl.”
CRB is gearing up for their 2019 Winter Tour and will be stopping through Missoula for an intimate show at the Top Hat on Saturday, February 16, 2019. They last played at the Top Hat in 2014 to a sold out crowd. Check out photos from the show here.
