Gritty Psych Jam: Spafford to Bring Improv Rock Back to Missoula
Arizona bred jam quartet Spafford has confirmed a returning headline concert at the Top Hat on March 14, 2019.

Spafford has become one of the jam scene’s most-buzzed-about live bands. Composed of Brian Moss (guitar/vocals), Jordan Fairless (bass/vocals), Andrew “Red” Johnson (keys/vocals) and Cameron Laforest (drums/percussion/vocals) — the band has become known for their brilliant improvisation, genre-exploring sound, and high energy performances.
May 2018 saw the release of their second proper studio album, For Amusement Only. Relix reviewed the album saying Spafford “blend their instruments together seamlessly” and that the “sound on this release is watertight without feeling overworked.
