Country Vibe with Rock Edge: Reckless Kelly to Headline The Wilma

Previously selling out the Top Hat, Austin-based alt-country rock band Reckless Kelly will return to Missoula for a headlining performance at The Wilma on April 18, 2019.

Cody and Willy Braun, the bandʼs co-founders and frontmen toured the country as part of their fatherʼs band, Muzzie Braun and the Boys, as children. They even performed on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson… twice. However, their journey didn’t come without hardships and a struggle for recognition, but that’s part of what defined them.

Through their trials, tribulations, and natural born musical heritage — Reckless Kelly’s signature Americana sound was made. Cody Braun said “Our goal was to make music that had a country vibe but a solid rock edge.” As Music Row magazine proclaimed, “In my perfect world, this is what country radio would sound like.”
