Hip Hop Meets Reggae Rock: The Movement Will Return to Missoula with Special Guest KBong

Gearing up for the release of their forthcoming album, hip hop infused reggae rock band The Movement will stop in Missoula on their 2019 Winter Tour for a live concert at the Top Hat on January 31, 2019. They’ll also be joined by KBong, who’ll perform a special acoustic opening set.

Both acts previously performed at KettleHouse Amphitheater in Montana when The Movement opened for Iration & Dirty Heads and KBong performed with Stick Figure while on tour with Slightly Stoopid and Pepper. Check out the photo galleries here and here respectively.

Originally based out of Columbia, South Carolina, The Movement have been steadily growing their fanbase since their debut album On Your Feet in 2004. Their follow up album Set Sail in 2008, contained two of their top hits “Set Sail” and “Habit.”

Fast forward to 2018 and they’ve released 4 more albums, including 2016’s Golden, which hit #1 on iTunes and Billboard Reggae charts and was voted 2016 Album Of The Year by Surf Roots Radio. Since then they’ve released 3 singles: “Siren” ft. Stick Figure in 2017 and two in 2018, “Cool Me Down” and “Loud Enough.”
