Logjam’s 2018 Year in Review: By the Numbers

With 19 concerts at the KettleHouse Amphitheater and a jam-packed lineup of world-class artists stopping through Missoula almost every other day, 2018 will go down as one of the most eventful years in Missoula history.

Here is a compilation of statistics to recap an amazing year of entertainment in our community.

$850,000+ was donated to local not-for-profits! With your help on efforts like the Blackfoot River Fund and the Logjam Foundation’s Community Action Series, several contributions were made to local organizations to help support Missoula arts, education and environment.

75,000+ pounds of waste was diverted from the landfill to compost thanks to your participation in the Going Green Initiative. This is a big step in the right direction as Missoula continues to implement its Zero by Fifty programs.

500+ events. Your support for live entertainment brought more events to Missoula than ever before and the vast majority of these were well attended thanks to you. With only 365 days in a year, you think 500 might be a bit much, but not for the Missoula Community.

300+ local employees joined the Logjam family. From the cleaning crew, tech staff, marketing department, parking, production and operations team, the front of house to the back of house…it takes a village to make these dreams a reality.

207 ticketed events in our little city of 70,000 people. From regional acts to international superstars, this community has helped turn Missoula into one of the greatest music communities in the Northwest.

200+ events involving local talent and organizations from all over Montana. We’re grateful to live in an area that appreciates and actively cultivates the local arts scene. Of the 200+ local events held throughout the year, over 150 of them were free.

100+ people voted as a part of the #IVoted Amplify Montana partnership with Forward Montana. Thanks for making your voice heard!

26 sold out events and many more were very close. The energy created by an artist performing to a room full of excited fans is something that can only be felt in the live setting.

2 new venues, Ogren Park and Bozeman, were announced as part of the Logjam portfolio in addition to the Top Hat, Wilma, and KettleHouse Amphitheater.

1 dedicated community that continues to blow us away with its undying support for live entertainment in Montana. We seriously cannot thank you all enough!

Already, 2019 is shaping up to be another amazing year.
