Guster Drops New Album “Look Alive” Ahead of Missoula Concert

Fans were starting to wonder… when’s Guster coming out with a new album? The Boston-based alt-rockers were a bit quiet since their last release in 2015, but they’re starting 2019 in full force, having just unveiled their new album Look Alive on Friday, Jan. 18 (listen below).

This is the band’s 8th album since their 1995 debut Parachute and it’s an interesting contrast to much of their work. Drummer Brian Rosenworcel says, “This record’s all over the place, hopefully in a good way. I don’t think we’ve ever been more unpredictable as a band than we are right now.”

From chilled out indie vibes to dreamy psychedelic tunes, the 9-track collection manages to brush across an array of sounds.

Guster is currently on their album release tour and will be stopping in Missoula for a show at the Top Hat on Feb. 11th with support from Henry Jamison. Each ticket purchased to the concert will include a digital download of Look Alive. Details here.
