Atmosphere Enlists Help from Breakdancing Thieves on New “Stopwatch” Video

Minneapolis-based hiphop duo, Atmosphere, just unveiled their Official Music Video for “Stopwatch.”

The fast paced visuals feature what looks like a father-son duo who breakdance and steal from people in a coffeeshop before they eventually have a run-in with the police. The video was directed by Ryan McPherson and produced by activist art collective INDECLINE.

“Stopwatch” is the second track off Atmosphere’s latest album Mi Vida Local, which came out October 2018. The song and more broadly the album reflect “the ways in which the world — and their place in it — has changed. The idyllic domesticity of the past few records has morphed into anxiety over keeping loved ones safe during turbulent times.” – Rhymesayers

Atmosphere will be returning to Missoula for the first time since 2016 when they bring their Mi Vida Local Tour to The Wilma on Feb. 27, 2019 with support from deM atlaS, The Lioness & DJ Keezy . Details here.
