Currently based in Seattle, WA, Missoula-bred Americana band The Hasslers are returning to Zootown for a nostalgic concert at the Top Hat on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
Formed in 2012 by frontman Matt Hassler, The Hasslers developed a strong and loyal following while in Missoula. A few years ago, the hard hitting Americana rockers transplanted their headquarters to Seattle to further pursue their musical endeavors, but they haven’t lost their roots.
Since their move, they’ve headlined Northwest Folklife Festival, Bite of Seattle, Red Ants Pants, and recently wrapped up an 18-city tour across the Northwest.
2019 sees these Montana natives embarking on two mini tours in anticipation of a senior EP bound to recreate the nostalgia of their early folk, bluegrass, and alt-country stylings, while reinventing themselves with newfound jazz harmonies, road worn storytelling, and a lot of big city blues.
Known for their already rambunctious live shows — The Hasslers’ triumphant return to Missoula for this Saturday springtime concert should be one for the record books.
