The Dip Delivers New Album

Retro soul pop ensemble The Dip just released their new album The Dip Delivers on Feb. 8, 2019.

This is the Seattle septet’s follow up to their 2016 EP Won’t Be Coming Back. It continues to solidify the bands signature sound of vintage rhythm & blues mixed with modern pop — or as KEXP has described as “impeccably crafted, 60’s-steeped soul.”

The new LP has already received positive reviews. Atwood Magazine said  “The Dip unleash a torrent of rich, raw songs full of warmth and energy in The Dip Delivers, breathing fresh life into a classic sound.” No Depression wrote that the band provides “a pleasant tickle in our soul receptors, a heart-felt homage to the originators presented masterfully by a new generation of soul music fans.”

Released in 2015, their self titled debut album propelled them to notable appearances at festivals like Sasquatch, High Sierra, Summer Meltdown, and more.

Now the band is on a nationwide tour, complete with a stop at the Top Hat in Missoula on Friday, May 3, 2019. Details here.
