John Craigie

Singer-songwriter John Craigie will be performing a special Acoustic Avenue set at 8pm on Thursday. In 2018, he headlined a ticketed show at the Hat, so we’re lucky we could snag him for this FREE concert! Seattle newspaper, The Stranger, called him “the lovechild of John Prine and Mitch Hedberg.” Craigie will also be joined by fellow Portland, OR-based singer-songwriter Hanna Haas. Remember, this is also an all ages show, so everyone is welcome.

Off in the Woods

A Missoula favorite, Off in the Woods have been spreading their soulful, reggae infused funk across the Northwest for nearly a decade. They released their debut album, Smoke Signals in 2011 and followed up with their long awaited sophomore LP, Greenhouse, in October 2018. They celebrated it with an Album Release Party at the Top Hat. They’ve also been seen opening for several notable acts including Chuck Ragan, The Movement, John Brown’s Body, and The English Beat to name a few.

Scott Pemberton

A musical nomad, Portland-based guitarist, Scott Pemberton, leaps and bounds across genres. His music has found its way into various movies, television programs and advertisements (Nike, Coke, Jaguar, and NASCAR ads have been propelled by his distinctive melodies), and his funky guitar work has led to collaborations with legendary drummers such as Motown’s Mel Brown and Bernard Purdie, AKA “the world’s most recorded drummer.” He’s played prime spots at major festivals across the U.S. and Canada, hit #4 on Billboard’s Tastemakers’ charts and ranked among the top performers on Jambase, peaking at #2 during the High Sierra Music Festival, where he stormed the stage. It’s been awhile since he’s been to Missoula, so we’re excited to see what he pulls out of his bag of tricks this time around!
