Multi Platinum Selling Musician Melissa Etheridge Will Bring The Medicine Show to Missoula
Grammy award winning, multi-platinum selling country folk rocker Melissa Etheridge will perform an intimate headlining concert at the Wilma on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Etheridge’s 14th studio album album, The Medicine Show, came out April 2019. It’s an album of renewal, of reconciliation, of reckoning, of compassion and, most profoundly, of healing. “Yeah, a lot of healing,” Etheridge says. “Personal healing, national healing, human healing.”
She explains that “Calling the album The Medicine Show puts straight up, front and center, that this is about health, wellness, cannabis, this new thought, new paradigm, however you want to talk about it, however you want to understand it. It influences every song on the album. We’re not afraid of this any more. We’ve come a long way.”
Etheridge has a laundry list of accolades. She’s been Grammy nominated fifteen times, winning Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 1992 and 1993 for her songs “Ain’t It Heavy” and “Come to My Window” respectively. She won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “I Need to Wake Up” from the 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth. Her 1993 album, Yes I Am, was certified platinum 6 times and she has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
