Grammy Winning Blues Artist Robert Cray will Return to Missoula

Five time Grammy award winning blues guitarist Robert Cray and his band will return to Missoula for a concert at the Wilma on July 16, 2019. Blues/R&B soul singer Shemekia Copeland will perform an opening set.

For more than four decades, Robert Cray has been blending blues, soul, and R&B, creating over 20 acclaimed albums. Cray has continuously earned high praise while consistently recording and touring. In 2011, Cray was inducted to the Blues Hall of Fame and received the Americana Music Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance in 2017. Aside from his five wins, Robert has been Grammy nominated 15 times.

In April of 2017, he released his latest project Robert Cray & Hi Rhythm with the help of Grammy award winning producer Steve Jordan. The project was Grammy nominated for the Best Contemporary Blues Album.
