Grammy Winning Latin Rock Band Café Tacvba Will Bring 30th Anniversary Tour to Missoula

Grammy award winning Latin alternative rock band, Café Tacvba, will bring their 30th Anniversary Tour to Missoula for a headlining concert at the Wilma on August 26, 2019.

Café Tacvba released their self titled debut album in 1994, which included several hit singles. It became very popular in their home country of Mexico and led them to become a leading force in the Latin rock scene in the early 90s.

Their 1994 follow-up, Re, was place number one on Rolling Stone’s list of “The 10 Greatest Latin Rock Albums of All Time.”

2003’s Cuatro Caminos won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album and two Latin Grammys for Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Song “Eres.” “Eres” has received well over 400,000,000 streams since its release.

The band has had the same lineup since their first album. Café Tacvba is Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Emmanuel del Real Díaz (keyboards, piano, programming, rhythm guitar, melodica, vocals), José Alfredo “Joselo” Rangel Arroyo (lead guitar, vocals), and Enrique “Quique” Rangel Arroyo (bass guitar, electric upright bass, vocals).
