Listen Back: Umphrey’s McGee at the Wilma in 2017 (Live Album)

Spoiled… that’s what Missoula was when Umphrey’s McGee performed at the Wilma not one, but two days in a row in 2017 — March 3rd and 4th.

As they usually do, Umph recorded the shows to share with fans via UMLive, but they must’ve really enjoyed the second night, because they ended up sharing it on all digital streaming platforms. They even said… “There’s just something about that Montana energy that never grows old. We are pleased to share one of our favorite shows of the year thus far, now available on the world wide web at the digital outlet of your choice.”

The March 4th show included fan favorites like “Anchor Drops,” “Wappy Sprayberry,” “Booth Love” and it thoughtfully started and ended with “All in Time.” Of course, if you were there, you can’t forget about Umph’s take on the Tenacious D tune “Kielbasa.” It was the first time Umph covered it since 2002… 1,783 shows before then!

Continuing the post show excitement, Umphrey’s also shared two pro-shot videos of them performing “Bad Friday” and a massive, 20-minute rendition of the epic jam, “Draconian.”

Once again, Umphrey’s McGee will return to Montana when they perform outside on the Blackfoot River at KettleHouse Amphitheater on Saturday, August 3rd. They’ll be supported by the high-flying, jam funk rockers Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Tickets & more info here.

It’s just one show this time though, so come ready to rage with nothing holding you back! If you’ve never been to an Umphrey’s McGee show before, do yourself a favor and come to this show. They music and the energy is unlike any other show you’ve been to. They also have a stellar light show… see for yourself and check out these past Umphrey’s McGee photo galleries.
