The band consists of the Garza brothers Henry (guitar/vocals), Jojo (bass/vocals), and Ringo (drums/vocals). They released their eponymous debut album in 2004 which is now certified two times Platinum. It included their breakthrough single “Heaven,” which became certified Gold and was a number one hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. The song also won a Grammy in 2005 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, while Los Lonely Boys were nominated for Best New Artist.
They’ve released four more original studio albums, Sacred (2006), Forgiven (2008), Rockpango (2011), and Revelation (2014). They’ve also released multiple live albums, a Christmas album, and a best of compilation.
Over the years, the band has persevered through several challenges. In 2013, they canceled 43 shows and paused work on their last album, Revelation, after Henry was seriously hurt when he fell from a stage in Los Angeles. A couple of years previously, vocal cord nodules had forced Jojo to stop singing for months. And in 2015, their mother passed away. Their strong brotherly bond has helped them through those rough spots and the desire to follow their musical muse still drives them today.
