Rocky Horror Show returns to the Wilma, The Brothers Comatose headlines the Top Hat, Deep Sea Diver plunges into Missoula, Pinky and the Floyd sell out the Rialto, and more!

Take a look at this week’s lineup below.

Thursday, October 24th
The Timber Rattlers at the Top Hat

The Timber Rattlers are a bluegrass quartet from Missoula, MT. They pull inspiration from their traditional roots, but still venture to cover new territory in the realm of acoustic music. The band formed into its current lineup in spring of 2019 and have spent the year writing, recording and performing.

Later 2019 they head back into the studio to record an almost entirely original album. If you like bluegrass and intricate acoustic music than this show is for you! You can check out their debut single release “No Ordinary War” on all streaming platforms.

Friday, October 25th
The Brothers Comatose at the Top Hat

The San Francisco-based string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy live shows reminiscent of stadium rock concerts. They forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music.

The Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison(banjo, vocals), Gio Benedetti (bass, vocals), Philip Brezina (violin), and Ryan Avellone (mandolin). In 2018, The Brothers Comatose traveled Asia for a month of cultural music exchange and education with American Music Abroad, a program directed by the State Department.

Friday, October 25th & Saturday, October 26th
Pinky and the Floyd at the Rialto

Pinky’s beloved and talented backup vocalists, Krista and Jeni, have decided to step aside from the band to focus on work, families, and life. They’ve been an integral part of the band’s performances and are like family to them. Being a “backup singer” in a tribute band doesn’t necessarily seem like a big deal, but if you’ve seen Pinky, you know that what these ladies do on stage is far more than “back up.”

As always, these shows will celebrate the music of Floyd, while also celebrating the amazing vocals of Krista & Jeni. With 2 nights and 2 different shows, Pinky will cover two entire albums, Meddle and Dark Side of the Moon, in addition to other popular selections that allow the girls to shine!

Saturday, October 26th
Shoreline Mafia at the Top Hat

The group formed in 2012 when high school friends OhGeesy (Alejandro Coranza) and Fenix Flexin (Fenix Rypinski) met each other through MySpace. Fenix remembers the early days; recording on a “$100 mic and Garage Band” and putting music on SoundCloud. Two years later Rob Vicious (Robert Maggee) and Master Kato (Malik Carson) joined and the current 4-piece was born.

2019 is looking to be their biggest year yet, with an impressive list of sold out shows, and some big accomplishments under their belt. Their single “Bands” was Certified Platinum and they have two Certified Gold singles with “Musty” and “Nun Major.” They have over 1 billion streams in the US alone, 16 million average streams a week, and 500 million equivalent albums sold across all releases combined. They’ve already enjoyed early press coverage from FADER, Noisey, Forbes, The Washington Post, Pitchfork, PassionWeiss and other music blogs.

Deep Sea Diver at the Top Hat

Deep Sea Diver is the brainchild of fearless multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, Jessica Dobson who used to play lead guitar for artists like Beck and James Mercer of The Shins. Deep Sea Diver has received acclaim for their festival-ready power and presence, Jessica’s larger than life guitar hooks, and their cascading layers that build upon each other until they reach their explosive peak.

Deep Sea Diver has released two full length studio albums, History Speaks (2012) and Secrets (2016). Now, they’re gearing up for the release of their third album.
