Brother Ali Will Bring Secrets & Escapes Tour to Montana for Two Shows
Conscious hip hop artist Brother Ali will bring his Secrets & Escapes Tour to Montana for two shows early 2020 with support from Open Mike Eagle and DJ Last Word. They’ll be playing at the Rialto in Bozeman on Friday, February 7th and at the Top Hat in Missoula on Saturday, February 8th.
Over the past 17 years, Brother Ali has earned wide critical acclaim for his deeply personal, socially conscious, and inspiring brand of hip-hop. Under Rhymesayers Entertainment, he’s unleashed a series of lauded projects, establishing himself as one of the most respected independent voices in music. In 2017, he released All the Beauty in This Whole Life, a 15-track collection produced entirely by Atmosphere’s Anthony “Ant” Davis.
Most recently, Ali dropped Secrets & Escapes, his 7th full-length via Rhymesayers. According to Ali’s Bandcamp, the album was recorded “in a Venice garage with no regard for pleasing the internet or competing with the music industry.” That might be the best way to describe Ali’s overall style.
