This will be the first time the KettleHouse Amphitheater hosts an electronic music bill, and to our knowledge, it’s the first time Louis the Child has played in Western Montana. Supporting act, Jai Wolf, played at the Wilma May 2019 and Evan Giaa opened for Big Wild in November 2019.
Louis the Child is made up of Robby Hauldren and Frederic Kennett. Playing at small venues around 2014, the duo’s popularity skyrocketed in 2015 with the release of their single “It’s Strange” ft. K.Flay. Their 3-song EP, Love Is Alive, was released in 2017 on Ultra Music and includes the popular track “Slow Down Love.”
They released another 3-song EP, Kids At Play, in 2018 which includes possibly their most notable song to date, “Better Not” ft. Wafia. The song has more than 130 million streams on Spotify. 2019 saw them release four singles with their most recent, “Here Comes a Feeling” ft. Naomi Wild and Couros, coming out in December.
