The Grooviest Dance Party of the Year, FUNKSGIVING, is back for its 8th year and will be lighting up the dance floor at The ELM on Saturday, November 20, 2021! Once again, the show will feature local purveyors of funk, The Sweet Groovalicious Funk Machine.

FUNKSGIVING is a locally sourced 70s themed event for everyone who likes to get down and get funky — all while supporting a good cause. The band will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Bridgercare – a Bozeman-based health clinic that provides excellent, affordable reproductive and sexual healthcare and education in a safe, supportive, empowering atmosphere.

The Sweet Groovalicious Funk Machine (SGFM) is Bozeman’s beloved funk band specializing in good times. Featuring a core group of experienced pro players, SGFM hits hard with a heavy dose of classic hits from James Brown and Motown, but isn’t afraid to infuse a few funky twists on modern hits. They’ll have a number of guests joining them with specials solos and will make sure to keep things zesty.

To reiterate, this is a 70s themed party, so make sure to wear those 70s COSTUMES! We’re talking bell bottoms, ‘staches, polyester, sequins and all things funkadelic!
