The Lil Smokies to Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2021 in Missoula

Keeping with tradition, Montana’s bluegrass phenoms The Lil Smokies will return to The Wilma for a New Year’s Eve Celebration on Friday, December 31, 2021!

The Lil Smokies are a staple of the string music scene in Montana. They’ve had as many blowout shows at Missoula’s historic theater as any band has. See for yourself and peruse these old photo galleries to see all the amazing memories fans have had with the band over the years.

There wasn’t a NYE show at The Wilma in 2020, so we all have to make up for the lost time! Grab your friends, family and lovers of bluegrass and lets ring in 2022 with one of the best bands to come out of The Last Best Place! With high ceilings, ample space, and one of the best ventilation systems in the state, The Wilma is a unique venue for the Montana community to support the arts in a spacious and more comfortable environment as we move into the colder months.

Tickets are on sale now and for the first 30 days, we’ll be running an “Early Bird” special where general admission floor tickets will be discounted to $25. Scoop ’em up while you can!

About The Lil Smokies

Drawing on the energy of a rock band and the Laurel Canyon songwriting of the ‘70s, The Lil Smokies are reimagining their approach to roots music on Tornillo, named for the remote Texas town where the album was recorded. Produced by Bill Reynolds (The Avett Brothers, Band of Horses), Tornillo is the band’s third studio album.

Formed in Missoula, Montana, The Lil Smokies have built a national following through constant touring, they have performed at Red Rocks, LOCKN’, High Sierra, Telluride, Bourbon & Beyond and more.
