The Brothers Comatose Announce Two Montana Concerts with TK & The Holy Know-Nothings

San Francisco-based Americana mavens, The Brothers Comatose, will return to Montana for two concerts in 2022. They’ll perform at The Elm in Bozeman on March 22nd, followed by The Wilma in Missoula on March 23rd. Psychedelic doom boogie band, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, will open for The Brothers Comatose for both shows.

The Brothers Comatose are a 5-piece string band that have grown their fanbase through energetic live performances, smooth harmonies and fiery picking. Since their start in 2010, they’ve released four albums with their most recent, Ink, Dust & Luck coming in 2018. In 2021, they released the single “Are You Waiting?”. A new album should be coming soon!

We’ve been lucky enough to see The Brothers Comatose tour through Montana several times. Most recently, they hit the Top Hat for a packed show in 2019 (photos). A couple years before that, fans witnessed an epic super jam at The Wilma which featured The Brothers Comatose performing alongside The Lil Smokies and Mipso (photos).

We have no idea if The Brothers Comatose are planning to jam with TK & The Holy Know-Nothings but it would certainly be welcomed! TK recently blew people away during their opening sets for JJ Grey & Mofro (photos), and we’re really looking forward to having them back. Having The BroCo & TK on both The ELM & The Wilma stages is a real treat for Montana’s Americana fans!

About The Brothers Comatose

Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy, rock concert-like shows.

The Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Steve Height (bass), Philip Brezina (violin), and Greg Fleischut (mandolin, vocals). When they’re not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the band is out on the road performing across America, Canada, Australia, and hosting their very own music festival, Comatopia, in the Sierra foothills.

In 2014, they began curating, booking, and hosting their very own festival, Ghostland. Rooted in a love for Maine’s music community, the festival has grown into one of the state’s largest festivals, drawing local and national talent to the annual Labor Day Weekend event. With more music and touring on the horizon, Ghost of Paul Revere continue to expand this community.
