For the second consecutive year, Logjam Presents is proud to join hundreds of independent venues and promoters across the country to celebrate Independent Venue Week, July 11-17, 2022. Started in 2013, Independent Venue Week annually brings together venues all over the country to celebrate the spirit of independence with a nationwide series of venue-curated programming.

Logjam is excited to host the following events at KettleHouse Amphitheater and The ELM as part of Independent Venue Week:
Gregory Alan Isakov at The ELM on July 11th
Khruangbin at KettleHouse Amphitheater on July 12th
The Melvins at The ELM on July 14th
Rainbow Kitten Surprise at KettleHouse Amphitheater on Sat, July 16th
Fleet Foxes at KettleHouse Amphitheater on Sun, Jul 17

NOLA bounce artist Big Freedia was named the 2022 Artist Ambassador for Independent Venue Week. “I wouldn’t be here without the independent venue. After performing in local clubs for years, it was the independent venues that were the first to book me to play for audiences beyond New Orleans,” said Freedia in a statement. “Live music is still recovering from a tough few years. We need to support independent venues now more than ever.” Logjam was honored to have Big Freedia perform at Trombone Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown on July 1st!

KettleHouse Amphitheater and The ELM are two of the over 250 independent venues from all over the country that are set to participate in what is already the largest celebration of its kind in the world. The full schedule for Independent Venue Week 2022 can be found on their website here. If you plan on attending any of the events that Logjam is hosting, we encourage you to tag @logjampresents and use #IVW22 when sharing to social media!

The music industry is a competitive space, especially for independent venues and promoters competing against larger corporations. The past few years have been especially challenging, but thanks to the support of patrons and local communities, independent organizations continue to thrive. Logjam Presents, KettleHouse Amphitheater and The ELM are incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to support live entertainment in Montana. Thank you for keeping independent venues alive and well.
