Glitch hop pioneer — Opiuo — is bringing A Shape of Sound Tour to Montana for two shows in just a few weeks. He’s playing at The ELM in Bozeman on Friday, October 14th, and The Wilma in Missoula on Saturday, October 15th. Both shows will also feature very special guests Daily Bread and Maddy O’Neal. Australia-based Opiuo is an award-winning veteran producer, multi-instrumentalist, and pioneer of the glitch-hop genre. Since his start in the late 2000s, he’s released 4 full-length albums, 10 EPs, and a myriad of singles. His album, Meraki, won the New Zealand Music Award for Best Electronic Album in 2014.
He received another nomination for the same award in 2016 for his album Omniversal. Opiuo’s fifth full-length album and tour namesake, A Shape of Sound, dropped earlier this year.
