Flogging Molly Confirms Concerts at The ELM and The Wilma with The Bronx
Legendary Celtic punk heroes, Flogging Molly, will return to Montana for two concerts in 2023, performing at The ELM in Bozeman on August 19th and The Wilma in Missoula on August 20th. Both shows will feature support from punk rock band The Bronx.
Since their inception in 1997 in Los Angeles, Flogging Molly has garnered an enormous following by blending Celtic punk rock with traditional Irish music, infusing instruments such as violin, mandolin, and accordion, and melding blues progressions with grinding guitars.
Possibly their most commercially successful album, Drunken Lullabies, was released in 2002 and was certified gold. In 2011, they released Speed of Darkness which landed at #9 on Billboard’s Top 200. Their 2017 album, Life is Good, peaked at 69 on Top 200.
Flogging Molly’s latest album, Anthem, was released in 2022. Brooklyn Vegan said Anthem is “a ripper,” New Noise said it “easily satisfies expectations the Celtic-inspired punks have built over a decades-long career,” and American Songwriter triumphantly declared, “Flogging Molly is back.”
Flogging Molly have played sold out performances at both The Wilma and KettleHouse Amphitheater (photos), but this is going to be their first time at The ELM. Grab your tickets early!

About Flogging Molly
Flogging Molly is Dave King (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, bodhran), Bridget Regan (violin, tin whistle, vocals), Dennis Casey (guitar, vocals), Matt Hensley (accordion, concertina, vocals), Nathen Maxwell (bass guitar, vocals), Spencer Swain (mandolin, banjo, guitar, vocals), and Mike Alonso (drums, percussion).
Starting out as the house band for Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles and building a loyal following through endless touring, Flogging Molly has become a staple in the punk scene over the past 20-plus years, kicking off with its riotous debut, Swagger, and continuing through their five additional studio albums.
With numerous late-night television appearances under their belt, a sold out Salty Dog Cruise through the Caribbean, and a yearly St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Los Angeles, the band released their seventh full-length album, Anthem, on Sept. 9, 2022 via Rise Records.
