Minneapolis-based Cory Wong is an acclaimed guitarist, bassist, songwriter, podcast host, and producer. He’s released 12 solo albums over the past decade with his most recent, The Lucky One, dropping earlier this year. It included features from big names like Ben Rector, O.A.R., Allen Stone, and Big Gigantic, among others. Listen to tracks “Look At Me” and “Ready” to get a feel for the album.
Wong has also played with Vulfpeck, The Fearless Flyers, Dr. Mambo’s Combo, Chris Thile and Dirty Loops, among others. In 2020, Wong released Meditations with Jon Batiste and the album was Grammy-nominated for Best New Age Album.
Monica Martin is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter who grew up in rural Wisconsin. She’s performed on late night night television, shared the stage with world-renowned bands like The Head And The Heart and The Lumineers, and played several major music festivals.
Cory Wong delivered a heck of a performance at The ELM in 2022 (photos) and had fans raving about the show. It’ll be great having him back for another explosive night of jams!
